Bedwetting

Fotolia 55462942 XSBedwetting can be a real bother if you are training your child to sleep without a nappy. Making sure it is an appropriate time to toilet train your child is the first step. If you deem it to be the right time to toilet train and you feel you need help, then do not fear, we might have the answer.
Mr Bowen came up with a bedwetting procedure. It requires one treatment a week for four weeks. If the issue hasn't been addressed during that time, it's advisable to check for any stresses the child might be going through,  like starting school or moving house. Seeing a doctor for advice is also advisable.
Mr. Bowen's bedwetting procedure is a really useful to tone up the muscles that are needed to hold on to urine. It is very effective! It's always a good idea for a parent to come in during the child's treatment. It can also be done for adults suffering from weak pelvic floor or incontinence, but even adults will need to bring in a friend.

New Procedures

New procedures for Eyes, Chest, and Seizures

As many of you might know, I have just returned form a Specialized Procedures course, with Ozzie and Elaine Rentsch!

Which means I have learned a whopping 34 new procedures, with the man that Mr Bowen himself asked to continue on the legacy, and teach Bowen Therapy.

I have learned new procedures to treat for

  • Pregnancy pain
  • Child birth
  • Inflamed Sacrum
  • Tiredness when walking up stairs
  • Cold Feet
  • Hip displacia on babies over 3 years old
  • Restless leg
  • Bloating in the lower stomach
  • Disphagia
  • Heartburn
  • Hiatus Hernia
  • Digestive problems
  • Hormonal issues
  • Diabetes
  • Pubic bones damaged in pregnancy
  • Abdominal pain
  • Abdominal migraines
  • Colon problems, including IBS, Crohn's, diverticulitis
  • Flatulence
  • Bladder problems
  • Chronic pain in rib cage
  • Irregular heart beat
  • Unresolved shoulder problems
  • Pain or weakness in the thumb
  • Pain or weakness in the little finger
  • Dry eyes
  • Blocked tear ducts
  • Eye infections
  • Macular Degeneration (stops it from getting worse)
  • Sinus problems
  • Hayfever
  • Colds
  • Bad taste in the mouth
  • Seizures (protocol takes 6 months)

So as you can see the things Bowen can treat are even more varied than we thought! Please keep in mind I have just learned these new procedures, so patience would be appreciated. They are absolutely brilliant and my patients are all getting fantastic results from them.

One of the procedures called the Vagus Procedure, that works on the Vagus nerve, has been known to save a woman's life. Robyn Wood, a Bowtech trainer, was teaching in Italy. The class went out for dinner that night, and a woman collapsed right in front of them. She had no pulse. After ringing the ambulance, Robyn instinctively did the Vagus procedure. A pulse was then found, but then it faded again. Robyn did the Vagus procedure again. The pulse came back. That happened three times before the ambulance came, 20 minutes after the call. The ambulance officers said to Robyn that whatever she had done had saved that woman's life. Whenever Bowtech goes to that region of Italy, the lady who's life was saved always comes over to tell the story of how Bowen saved her life. She was later diagnosed as having had a heart attack.
While that was a very extreme use of the Vagus procedure, it does not necessarily need things to be that dire to be used. It works beautifully on people with anxiety, chest pain, stomach spasms, liver sensitive to the touch, chronic pain in the rib cage, breathing difficulties, severe infection.

I had Ozzie Rentsch demonstrate this procedure on me at the Bendigo Conference for rib pain, (diagnosed as possibly having a small fracture) and I have not had any pain in that area since.

Specialised Procedures with Ozzie and Elaine

I've just come back from doing an amazing course in Bendigo with Ozzie and Elaine Rentsch! We learned 37 new procedures over the past 2 days, so it's been pretty full on, but abosolutey amazing. Ozzie and Elaine worked with Mr. Bowen in Mr. Bowen's clinic and learned everything from watching and observing. Mr. Bowen asked them to teach his work after he had died, so in the 80's they started Bowtech. They are the most amazing people, and fantastic teachers!

I'll be coming back to this post soon and giving you all a little update on what I have learned and all of the things the new procedures can address, but I'll just leave you a little teaser now that I have leared a procedure that has saved many people's lives, even bringing one woman back to life THREE times before the paramedics were able to get to her! They stated that if it wasn't for the bowen therapists doing that move, the lady would not have survived, as the paramedics were only able to get there 20minutes after this lady had collapsed.

I'm looking forward to telling you all more about it!

Asthma

Did you know that Thomas Bowen's wife, Jessie suffered badly from Asthma? Jessie often had to be hospitalized to help her breathe. Because of this Mr. Bowen developed a set of moves specifically for Asthmatics, which with periodic treatment allowed her to no longer require any hospitals or medicines. That procedure has now had phenomenal results worldwide.

Mandela Day

Thursday the 18th of July is Mandela Day

Mandela day

Which will also mark his 95th birthday.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela

As taken from Clive Ferguson's book "Developing Attributes in Australian Mechanical Engineers: A role based study of Australian mechanical engineer attributes and the technologies used to deliver them through proximal and distance education"

The overarching objective of Mandela Day is to inspire individuals to take action to help change the world for the better, and in doing so build a global movement for good. Ultimately it seeks to empower communities everywhere. “Take Action; Inspire Change; Make Every Day a Mandela Day.”

I got married!
Luke and I were married on the 13th of April and I am currently in the process of changing my last name to Merritt. This process shouldn't effect your health care claims, however if it does, it should all be worked out within a  week or two. If you are waiting to claim back, please don't forget to do it soon!
